DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
While studying at a Japanese language school or university here in Japan,
many foreign residents run into walls like these:
These are the struggles
foreign residents face every day.
We take these struggles seriously.
Because your time here is limited,
we want to give you an experience that becomes a real asset.
Working here, you'll build real Japanese, customer-service skills,
and career-ready experience — all while getting paid.
Why can we make that promise?
One reason: the quality of training here has already been proven.
Our first graduate, Takao Maruyama, won Japan's No.1 Customer Service Championship —
a nationwide customer-service contest known as the "S1 Server Grand Prix" —
beating out 1,026 entries from across the country.
And the international staff who trained under him are now speaking fluent Japanese and thriving on the floor.

Here's what Maruyama has to say:
"Customer service is work that shapes a person's life."
It's not about talent. It's about environment,
and the daily habit of showing up.
"Daily preparation, daily practice, daily execution."
That's what he kept doing.
This national championship is proof of one thing:
train seriously here, and real results follow.
What you'll doLearn polite, professional Japanese through Gyoupao's own customer-service training.
What you'll gainJapanese you can actually use at work — the kind school never teaches. Confidence that goes beyond "your Japanese is good."
What you'll doSharpen your customer-service skills at the restaurant that produced a national champion.
What you'll gainAn experience you can speak about with confidence in job interviews: "I trained seriously in the environment that produced a national champion."
What you'll doReceive hands-on coaching and feedback directly from experienced staff.
What you'll gainA sense of security that comes from having colleagues and mentors, not facing it alone. Make Japanese friends and build your network.
What you'll doLearn workplace communication, teamwork, and professional habits through real shifts in a Japanese restaurant.
What you'll gainReal experience working in a Japanese team — and the confidence to adapt to your future workplace in Japan.
This job includes
three core types of training.
Learn the true essence of customer service — Gyoupao's own philosophy — from the ground up.
Practice real customer-service scenarios again and again. "Memorized" polite Japanese becomes "usable" polite Japanese.
Get feedback tailored to your specific challenges.

Even if you're not confident in your Japanese,
we offer support in simple, easy Japanese.
Feel free to reach out first — there's nothing to worry about.

genuinely focus on each individual.
This isn't an application. It's just a chance to come see the place.
"An interview in Japanese feels scary..." — we completely understand that feeling.
That's why this starts with a visit, not an interview.
Just connect with us casually on LINE first. This isn't an application.
Instead of an interview, you'll first experience the restaurant as a customer. The meal is on us.
If you like what you see, we'll talk about the job. Nothing to decide yet.
It's okay if you're not confident in your Japanese.
We'll guide you at your own pace.
Q.What level of Japanese is required?
A.JLPT N3 or higher is required. You don’t need to be confident in customer-service Japanese or keigo — you’ll learn those skills through training on the job.

A.Experience isn't required. What matters most to us is your genuine desire to learn.
Q.Do I need to pay anything to join? Is this a paid job?
A.This is a paid job — you never need to pay anything. The meal during your store visit is free, and training is included at no cost while you work.
Q.Can you also help with job hunting or visa questions?
A.This job doesn't guarantee employment or a visa, but we do support you in building real, practical experience. Please reach out via LINE for details.
To you, who came to Japan and decided to take on a challenge:
Limited time,
an unfamiliar language,
life in a foreign country.
Even so, if you genuinely want to throw yourself into something,
why not turn that feeling into something real, here?
It's not about talent or natural ability.
We've already seen what's possible: one of our staff went on to become a national customer-service champion.
Beyond a part-time job. Level up.
That first step isn't an interview —
it starts with a single message on LINE.
